For reasons that are only gradually revealed, Maggie Wolf, a beautiful young Navajo woman, has left her New Mexico reservation for Pine Valley, a small mountain town in Colorado. With the help of Alice, her landlady and friend, Maggie runs a shop called Mystic Jewels. There she sells Native jewelry, stones, candles, and dreamcatchers of her own design.
Maggie soon meets Mike Dunham, the handsome carpenter who is renovating Waverly House, a Victorian mansion that belongs to his family. It's not long before Maggie discovers that Mike shares some of her gifts when it comes to communicating with spirits of the deceased — and that he has far more to offer her than just talk.
The Mysterious Maggie Wolf: Book One is four distinct paranormal adventures in one volume. All of them involve mystery, danger, vital assistance from spirits and real–world law enforcement personnel, and various members of Maggie’s family — most notably her mother and father, who have gifts and talents of their own.
With the final mystery solved, Maggie and Mike set out on the road for a well–deserved vacation.
In future volumes in the series, Maggie will continue to assist spirits in delivering messages to their families. Her gift of being able to communicate with spirits will allow her to be of ever greater assistance to law enforcement as she helps find the answers to previously unsolved crimes.
